U15 Bronze Tournament, 5^th December Devon

Aidan Gibbons, Saskia Manson and Anna Manley were Avon’s representatives.

Singles:

Aidan, playing up an age group, did really well to win his box but came up against a strong Somerset player in the quarter finals.

Saskia started off with a very tough game against the eventual winner, Anne Marie Lau from Dorset but played with her usual plucky grit to narrowly lose 19-21.

Anna played steadily to win her box and semi-final against Jenny Maddison from Devon, but lost out in the final. Silver nevertheless.

Doubles:

Anna and Saskia were a bit slow to start but really hit form against the strongest pair from Devon to go through 21-10.  In the final against Anne Marie and another Dorset girl they looked determined from the start and took the Gold comfortably, 21-12.
