U15 SW match v Somerset     Avon – 13   Somerset - 23

The last match of the season proved to be a tough one, but everyone battled hard and several matches were extremely close.  Mike had an epic singles game which he eventually managed to win 24 – 22, 15 – 21, 27 – 25.  This turned out to be the only boys singles win so well done Mike!  The girls singles games were more evenly matched, with Anna, Ana and Grace all having really close three set games.  The score ended up 3 – 3 here.

 

Somerset mixed and matched their doubles pairs to good effect – and despite some excellent play from both our boys and girls we ended up 3 – 6 down on the boys and 4 – 5 down on the girls.

 

More close games in the mixed, but with only two wins here, the final score was 23 – 13 in Somerset’s favour.

 

Everyone played well and hopefully enjoyed their games.
